Up to now, China's total approved amount of scrap copper is 743140 tons.
Wang Jiwei said that at present, about 150 enterprises have applied to become scrap metal importers or suppliers, including many Chinese enterprises.
In order to reduce the solid waste, China has made a corresponding import of scrap metal. China aims to completely ban the import of solid waste by the end of 2020, but some high-grade waste copper and aluminum that meet the new industry standard of " are still not subject to " anti " measures.
At the end of August, the recycled metal branch of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association issued an announcement to extend the application for qualification identification of foreign suppliers and domestic consignees of recycled copper and aluminum raw materials.
