H62 ordinary brass: it has good mechanical properties, good plasticity in hot state and cold state, good machinability, easy brazing and welding, corrosion resistance, but easy to produce corrosion cracking. In addition, the price is cheap. It is an ordinary brass variety used by recidivists. It is used for various deep drawing and bending parts, such as pins, rivets, washers, nuts, conduits, barometer springs, screens, radiator parts, etc.
H65 ordinary brass: the performance is between H68 and H62. The price is cheaper than H68. It also has high strength and plasticity. It can well withstand cold and hot pressure processing and has the tendency of corrosion cracking. Used for hardware, daily necessities, small springs, screws, rivets and mechanical parts.
H68 ordinary brass: it has extremely good plasticity (the best of brass) and high strength, good cutting performance, easy welding, and is not stable to general corrosion, but it is easy to crack. It is the most widely used variety of ordinary brass. It is used for complex cold stamping parts and deep stamping parts, such as radiator shell, conduit, bellows, cartridge case, gasket, detonator, etc.
H70 ordinary brass: it has extremely good plasticity (the best of brass) and high strength, good cutting performance, easy welding, and is not stable to general corrosion, but it is easy to crack. It is used for complex cold stamping parts and deep stamping parts, such as radiator shell, conduit, bellows, cartridge case, gasket, detonator, etc.
H75 ordinary brass: it has quite good mechanical properties, process properties and corrosion resistance. It can work well under hot and cold pressure. It is between H80 and H70 in performance and economy. Used for low corrosion resistant springs.
H80 ordinary brass: similar to h85 in performance, but with high strength and good plasticity, it has high corrosion resistance in atmosphere, fresh water and seawater. It is used for paper mesh, thin-wall pipe, bellows and building supplies.
H85 ordinary brass: with high strength and good plasticity, it can well withstand cold and hot pressure processing, and has good welding and corrosion resistance. Tubes for condensation and heat dissipation, siphons, serpentine tubes, cooling equipment parts.
H90 ordinary brass: the performance is similar to H96, but the strength is slightly higher than H96. It can be plated with metal and extruded with enamel. For water supply and drainage pipes, medals, works of art, water tank belt and bimetallic sheet.
H96 ordinary brass: it has higher strength than red copper (but it is the lowest among ordinary brass), good thermal conductivity and conductivity, high corrosion resistance in the atmosphere, good plasticity, easy to cold and hot pressure processing, easy to welding, forging and tin plating, and no stress corrosion cracking tendency. In general machinery manufacturing, it is used as conduit, condenser pipe, radiator pipe, radiator fin, automobile water tank belt and conductive parts.
HA177-2 aluminum brass: it is a typical aluminum brass with high strength and hardness and good plasticity. It can be processed under pressure in hot and cold state. It has good corrosion resistance to seawater and brine and impact corrosion resistance, but has the tendency of dezincification and corrosion cracking. It is used as condensing pipe and other corrosion-resistant parts in ships and coastal thermal power stations.
Ha177-2a aluminum brass: the performance and composition are similar to HA177-2. The corrosion resistance to seawater is improved due to the addition of a small amount of arsenic and antimony. The mechanical properties are also improved due to the addition of a small amount of beryllium. The purpose is the same as HA177-2.
Hmn58-2 manganese brass: it has high corrosion resistance in seawater, superheated steam and chloride, but has the tendency of corrosion cracking; It has good mechanical properties, low thermal conductivity, easy pressure processing in hot state and acceptable pressure processing in cold state. It is a widely used brass variety. Important parts for working under corrosive conditions and low current industrial parts.
HPb59-1 lead brass: it is a widely used lead brass. It is characterized by good machinability, good mechanical properties, cold and hot pressure processing, easy brazing and welding, good stability to general corrosion, but has the tendency of corrosion cracking. It is suitable for various structural parts made by hot stamping and cutting, such as screws, washers, gaskets, bushings, nuts, nozzles, etc.
HSn62-1 tin brass: it has high corrosion resistance in seawater, good mechanical properties and cold brittleness during cold processing. It is only suitable for hot pressing. It has good machinability, easy welding and brazing, but has the tendency of corrosion cracking (seasonal cracking). Ship parts or other parts used for seawater or gasoline contact.
HSn70-1 tin brass: it is a typical tin brass. It has high corrosion resistance in air, steam, oil and sea water. It has good mechanical properties, acceptable machinability, easy welding and brazing, good pressure machinability under cold and hot conditions, and has the tendency of corrosion cracking (seasonal cracking). It is used for corrosion-resistant parts (such as condensing pipes) on seagoing ships, conduits in contact with seawater, steam and oil, and thermal equipment parts.
